The trick is to encase the Loop within another Loop. We call this nesting the Loops: the inner Loop is nested within the outer Loop. The inner Loop controls the stimuli from trial to trial, as you saw in the experiments in earlier chapters. The outer Loop controls which block of trials will run. To make their purposes clear, we’ll name the inner Loop trials and the outer Loop blocks.
