Numerical investigations have been made of reaction ignition and self-propagation in nanoscale multilayer structures made of alternating layers of boron and titanium239. Thanks to thinness of the metallic multilayers, the reaction propagation through the bimetallic multilayers could be approximated by a one-dimensional transient model for thermal and atomic diffusion.

Благодаря тонкости металлических мультислоев распространение реакции через биметаллические мультислои можно было аппроксимировать одномерной переходной моделью для тепловой и атомной диффузии.
