Reduced course of studies. A Swedish curriculum option that offers either a reduced time schedule or work experience alternating with a number of theoretical subjects for pupils who have difficulty coping with the normal curriculum. A pupil with an adjusted study programme will not obtain a complete compulsory school-leaving certificate but can still be offered a place in upper secondary school.
